Shifting the Narrative Through Applied Neuroscience and Optimized Supports

Held at the University of Southern Indiana – Carter Hall on April 3-4

Over 200 self-advocates, parents, caregivers, students, and professionals from around the world attended in person and virtually for this innovative learning and training opportunity.

Participants experienced:

• presentations by leading autism advocates, applied neuroscience specialists, neurologic music therapy pioneers, and service innovators.
• stories of self-advocates who’ve overcome barriers to inspire systemic change.
• interactive workshops to gain practical tools for supporting autistic individuals.
• innovative approaches for communication-focused strategies to better support nonspeaking and minimally speaking individuals.
